From October 9th to 11th, the third training course of the "Globalization Layout Study Program for Young Entrepreneurs" was held in Beijing, jointly organized by China International Youth Exchange Center, China-ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Association and China National Association of Metal Material Trade (CAMT). Outstanding young entrepreneurs from the fields of engineering construction, building materials supply chain and digital industry participated in this training. With the theme of "Deepening Practical Cooperation in Engineering with ASEAN", this training course aimed to help young entrepreneurs accurately seize new investment opportunities in the engineering field in ASEAN and effectively avoid risks in cross-border operations through systematic courses.
This course has specially invited authoritative experts from China Foreign Affairs University, China-ASEAN Centre, MAYCHAM CHINA, China Certified Tax Agents Association, Beijing Huazheng Certified Tax Agents Co., Ltd. and Power Construction Corporation Of China Ltd and other leading enterprises to conduct in-depth lectures on core topics such as RCEP rules, supply chain restructuring, country-specific investment policies and practical localization. It not only helps participants gain a deep understanding of overseas market economic policies from a macro perspective, and have a clear understanding of the market environment and cooperation opportunities, but also solves core issues of concern to enterprises from a practical perspective, such as supply chain and procurement, compliance localization and cultural integration, tax risks and tax treaties.
The training course also organized the trainees to visit the Embassy of Indonesia in China, China Railway Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd, The Beijing Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, China headquarters of Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group, and Thai Chamber of Commerce in China. They exchanged views on country-specific investment, industrial development policies, laws and regulations, and business cooperation, learned from the successful experiences of international engineering projects, and made on-site connections for cooperation resources.
During the exchange and discussion session, the trainees conducted in-depth discussions and strategic simulations on themes such as "From 'Going Out' to 'Going In' "and "Innovative Models and Implementation Strategies for International Engineering Cooperation in ASEAN".
This research and study program is detailed and well-organized, featuring high-level political and business resource connections as well as in-depth analysis of practical cases on the front line. It combines "macroscopic vision" with "microscopic operation". Through this training, participants not only systematically constructed a knowledge framework on the policy environment, investment opportunities and risk control in the ASEAN market, but also directly experienced the vitality and potential of regional cooperation through on-site exchanges and visits. At the same time, this learning experience greatly broadened the international horizons of young entrepreneurs, deepened their understanding of the localization of international projects, and provided practical ideas and paths for the next step of international cooperation of enterprises, injecting strong new impetus into the high-quality global development of enterprises.
Mr. Zhao Meng, the deputy general manager of Shandong High Speed New Material Technology Co., Ltd. said: "We are grateful to China National Association of Metal Material Trade for providing such a high-quality research and learning platform! Through the interpretation of ASEAN policies, the analysis of local cases, and exchanges with enterprises such as Charoen Pokphand Group, we have deeply realized that when going global in the building materials industry, we must balance business opportunities and compliance. In the future, we will rely on the advantages of 'market development + local operation', deepen supply chain collaboration, and precisely promote the strategic layout of products such as CRB600H steel bars and steel bar welded mesh in the infrastructure field of ASEAN."
Ms. Yu Mengyi, the head of the Overseas Business Division of Beijing Anzhengtong Information Technology Co., Ltd. said: "Thank you to China National Association of Metal Material Trade for organizing the Young Entrepreneurs' Study Program! From the interpretation of ASEAN policies to the sharing of local practical cases, I deeply felt that in the process of going global, while adapting to business opportunities, it is also necessary to focus on compliance with local policies. In the field of electronic signatures and seals, we will drive overseas expansion efficiently through the dual wheels of technology and compliance, and work in synergy with the supply chain!"
Mr. Li Hongtao, assistant general manager of the High-Quality Steel Division of Lange (Beijing) International Business Co., Ltd., said: "This study tour, from the in-depth interpretation of ASEAN policies to the analysis of localized practical cases, has revealed the core issues that enterprises face when going global. While adapting to business opportunities, we must also focus on complying with local policies. We need to build trust by focusing on compliance, so as to truly achieve efficient global expansion driven by both technology and compliance. In the future, we will take this study tour as a starting point, deepen collaborative innovation with supply chain partners, and transform what we have learned and understood into practical actions for local implementation. Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to CAMT for providing this valuable platform!"
